Yun-I Clinic Has Officially Passed the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Review as a Medical Tourism Institution!

📣 Great News!

As the pandemic situation eases in the post-pandemic era, Yun-I continues to connect with international medical care.

Yun-I has officially passed the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s review as a Medical Tourism Institution. We are now able to assist foreign nationals in applying for medical visas to receive international medical services in Taiwan. Yun-I will continue to uphold the original mission behind its establishment: helping infertile couples in Taiwan and overseas fulfill their dream of having a child 💪🏻

Starting September 12, Taiwan resumed visa-free entry for citizens of the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Europe, and other diplomatic allies. Foreign nationals who are not from the above visa-exempt countries are welcome to contact us through our communication platforms. Yun-I’s international medical specialists can assist with medical visa applications, allowing patients to enter Taiwan for assisted reproductive treatment.

2. Online Video Consultation

  1. 1.Please provide any existing medical test reports, including AMH ovarian reserve test results, hormone blood tests, hysterosalpingography, gynecologic ultrasound examinations, the husband’s semen analysis, previous assisted reproduction treatment information, and relevant medical records for reference.
  2. 2.After arranging an online consultation with the medical team, the physician will design the most cost-effective, efficient, and high-success-rate personalized treatment plan based on the couple’s condition.

3. What Should Be Prepared Before Coming to Taiwan for Medical Treatment?

  1. 1.Proof of Marital Relationship: For foreign nationals whose spouse is a Taiwanese citizen, the spouse’s Taiwanese ID card must include the marital status notation. For Taiwanese nationals without a Taiwanese passport, or those who married a foreign national overseas, the marriage certificate must be authenticated by the local Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.
  2. 2.Identity Documents for Foreign Nationals: Original and photocopies of two valid identity documents, such as national ID card, driver’s license, passport, Taiwan entry permit, or Taiwan residence permit.

The government’s Assisted Reproduction Subsidy, implemented since July 2021, may be available as long as one spouse is a Taiwanese citizen. This is a rare opportunity, so please do not miss it.

Please also share this good news with your family and friends overseas, so they may return to Taiwan and receive safe, detailed, and relatively more affordable assisted reproductive services at Yun-I.

Eligible patients may apply for the subsidy through Yun-I. After the treatment is completed, we will also assist with case closure and subsidy reimbursement.

Required Documents for the Assisted Reproduction Subsidy:

  1. 1.If the spouse is a foreign national, please confirm that both identity documents are still valid when applying for the subsidy. Expired documents may affect the review and approval of the subsidy.
  2. 2.If the spouse is a foreign national, or if the marriage was registered overseas, the Taiwan marriage registration procedure must be completed before applying for the subsidy. The spouse column on the Taiwanese ID card must be properly updated.
